Psalm 34

Leader: Come, now is the time to worship.

Children: Why should we give God our thanks and praise?

All: The Lord is righteous in all He does.

Leader: Come, let us give thanks and praise!

Children: God listens to those who follow Him
He knows when we try to do the right thing.

All: The Lord redeems his servants
No one will be condemned who takes refuge in Him.

August 16

Leader: Shout praises to the Lord!

Children: God has done mighty things!

All: His deeds are glorious and majestic

And his love endures forever.

Leader: Come, let us remember what God has done.

Children: God is always honest and fair,

He can be trusted!

All: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;

He is worthy of praises forever.

Psalm 130

Leader: O Lord, hear our cry.

Children: The bottom has fallen out of our world.

All: Out of the depths we cry to you,

From a seas of troubles, we call your name.

Leader: If you, O Lord, kept a record of sins

None of us could stand before you.

Children: But we know that you forgive us.

All. O Lord, we long for you with all that we are

And we put our hope in your word alone.

We wait for you more than watchmen wait for the morning,

For you are unfailing love, and full redemption.
